RN - Women and Infants Per Diem - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Coordinate care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff via in-person, phone, and written methods.
• Provide individualized education to patients and families based on their needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current nursing license in Illinois.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years of recent postpartum nursing experience.

Skills

• Strong assessment, communication, and care coordination abilities, with a focus on patient education and quality improvement.
