Role: RN Weekender in Medical Pulmonary Unit Responsibilities Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.Provide individualized patient and family education based on thorough assessments.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois nursing license.CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Key Duties: Providing comprehensive patient assessments, care coordination, effective communication, education, and participation in quality improvement efforts to ensure high standards of nursing practice.
