RN Weekender - Medical Pulmonary Unit - Nights

Position: RN Weekender - Medical Pulmonary Unit Location: Arlington Heights, IL Type: Full time, 36 hours/week Shift: Night shift (7:00pm - 7:30am), includes 4 weekend shifts per 2 weeks Responsibilities include: Providing patient assessments and collecting health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.Coordinating patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues in person, via phone, and in writing.Individualizing patient and family education based on thorough assessments.Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications and Skills: Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current nursing license in Illinois.CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
