RN Weekender - Medical Pulmonary Unit - Nights

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Pulmonary Unit, working night shifts in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive patient assessments, coordinating care plans, and ensuring safe, timely interventions. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.Develop and coordinate individualized care plans to deliver safe and effective treatment.Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues in person, via phone, and in writing.Educate patients and families based on thorough assessments to meet specific learning needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois nursing license.CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
