Responsibilities
- Delegation of appropriate tasks to ancillary staff
- Comprehensive assessments and documentation
- Communicating with physicians and case managers
- Patient education
- Wound care
- Accurate medication administration
Qualifications
The average nurse to patient ratio is 1:5, with the assistance of a nurse aide. The patient population is a mixture of medical, surgical, and cardiac.
