About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages nursing care activities in the cath lab and interventional radiology, supporting hospital success with energetic and motivated performance.
Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive assessments, documents patient data, and conducts ongoing evaluations.
- Develops and coordinates individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Executes nursing interventions, administers medications, and assists with procedures.
- Recognizes changes in patient condition and responds appropriately.
- Provides patient education, discharge planning, and ensures safety and infection control standards.
- Delivers service excellence through courteous communication, effective teamwork, and resource management.
- Participates in quality improvement, research, and professional development activities.
- Provides age-appropriate and specialized care, including restraint and pain management.
- Reports abuse or neglect as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- At least one year of medical-surgical experience.
Qualifications
- Current state-specific RN licensure.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ALS (Advanced Life Support) certification.
