About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages nursing care in cath lab and interventional radiology settings, delivering age-appropriate and specialized care while maintaining safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement and document nursing interventions, evaluating patient responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
- Provide patient education and maintain respectful, clear communication.
- Uphold safety and infection control standards in all procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
- Deliver specialized care, including pain management and restraint procedures when necessary.
- Recognize and report signs of abuse or neglect.
- Act as a resource for staff and demonstrate accountability for patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- At least one year of medical-surgical experience.
- Active RN licensure and certifications (BLS, ALS).
- Physical ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
- Strong communication skills and adherence to safety protocols.
Work Environment
