About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages nursing care in cath lab and interventional radiology settings, delivering age-appropriate and specialized care while maintaining safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and document nursing interventions, evaluating patient responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
• Provide patient education and maintain respectful, clear communication.
• Uphold safety and infection control standards in all procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
• Deliver specialized care, including pain management and restraint procedures when necessary.
• Recognize and report signs of abuse or neglect.
• Act as a resource for staff and demonstrate accountability for patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• At least one year of medical-surgical experience.
• Active RN licensure and certifications (BLS, ALS).
• Physical ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
• Strong communication skills and adherence to safety protocols.
