Requirements
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
- Department-specific credentials:
- ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate and APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card for chemotherapy administration in pediatric settings.
- ACLS certification for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty areas.
- PALS certification for pediatric units (30-day window to obtain if coming from a non-pediatric background).
- NRP certification for NICU (30-day window to obtain if coming from a non-NICU background).
- Fetal Monitoring certification for L&D nurses (required before completing orientation).
- RN Fellowship candidates must have one year of independent practice, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
- Newly licensed RNs must obtain ACLS and PALS within six months.
