About the role

This role requires critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across various clinical settings, including ICU, ED, PACU, Endoscopy, Telemetry, OB, and Pediatric units.
• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy with department-specific certifications such as ONCC and APHON required within specified timeframes.
• Ensure compliance with advanced life support certifications like ACLS, PALS, and NRP, depending on the unit and patient population.
• Maintain necessary credentials, including Fetal Monitoring certification for L&D nurses.
• Work with minimal supervision, make appropriate decisions, and manage stressful situations effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Relevant certifications based on specialty and unit requirements.
• Ability to obtain additional certifications within designated periods if coming from different backgrounds.
