About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages nursing care activities in the cath lab and interventional radiology, supporting patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develops individualized care plans.
- Coordinates and documents nursing interventions.
- Evaluates patient outcomes.
- Provides patient education.
- Assists physicians during procedures.
- Monitors changes in patient conditions.
- Ensures safety and infection control protocols are followed.
- Delivers high-quality, courteous service tailored to patient needs.
- Ensures effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provides age-appropriate and specialized care, including restraint and pain management.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid RN licensure.
- At least one year of medical-surgical experience; critical care or post-anesthesia experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS and ALS from AHA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of growth and development, safety, and infection control.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move patients.
- Ability to work in dynamic, emergency situations.
