About the Role

Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to deliver high-quality services while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, ensuring safe and effective care. Demonstrates ability to assist with procedures, administer medications, and address psychosocial needs of patients and families. Promotes cost-effective practices and lifelong learning to enhance nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses patient conditions and administers prescribed medications.
• Provides age-appropriate care and educates patients and families.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Assists physicians with procedures and performs technical skills.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and coordinates with social services.
• Practices cost-efficient resource utilization and prioritizes patient safety.
• Maintains ongoing professional development in nursing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent emergency nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy and ESI Triage skills required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensure/certifications: RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Preferred: EPIC EHR experience, ENPC, NIHSS.
