RN - Registered Nurse / Evening Shift

About the role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Minnesota Veterans Home‑Bemidji, you will deliver care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and applicable federal, state, and Veteran Administration regulations. You will provide assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver quality resident‑centered care that meets the physical and psychosocial needs of residents. The position is part‑time and primarily works the evening shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident assessments, develop care plans, implement nursing interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Deliver care that addresses both physical and psychosocial needs of veterans residing at the home.
• Ensure care adheres to RN scope of practice, Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, and relevant federal/state/Veteran Administration regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain accurate electronic charting using PointClickCare.
