RN - Pediatric Clinical
About the role
Spectrum Healthcare Resources seeks a civilian Full-time Pediatric Clinical Registered Nurse at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Assess patient’s condition and develop a plan of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university; and/or graduate of an accredited NLN School.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have and maintain a current and valid state license (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions) to practice as a Registered Nurse in one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- One year of related experience preferred.
- Must have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members.
- Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated records.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with some weekend coverage required.
