About the Role
A Pediatric RN provides direct nursing care in a pediatric medical-surgical unit.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Assess patient conditions and communicate effectively
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and execute physician and nursing directives
- Assist with discharge planning and ensure patient safety at all times
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Valid RN license for the state of practice
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform patient care tasks, with good vision and hearing
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome
Schedule
Full-time night shift with 36 hours per week, including every third weekend.
Pay
Shift differentials available for nights and weekends.
