About the role
This role involves assuming primary administrative responsibility for all departments and personnel during assigned periods, serving as an on-site representative and liaison among staff, physicians, patients, families, and external agencies to facilitate communication, problem-solving, and conflict management.
Responsibilities
- Develop organizational structures, supervise staff, and promote staff development
- Participate in departmental and hospital goal setting
- Ensure effective communication, incident reporting, patient safety, and emergency response
- Coordinate resource allocation, staffing, and patient placement
- Support quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Program graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree
- RN licensure in New Mexico
- At least 3 years of related experience
- Bilingual skills and CPR certification preferred
- Ability to meet physical demands and adhere to safety protocols
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and crisis management skills
