RN - Observation Unit - Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse - Observation Unit Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital Hours: 7pm-7am, full-time 36hrs/week, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care across diverse patient populationsPlan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plansCollaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care Qualifications Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required within five years if Associate Degree heldCurrent Illinois RN licensure and CPR certificationKnowledge of EKG interpretation and NIHSS Stroke Scale certificationPreferred: Bachelor’s Degree, surgical care experience, ACLS certification, and inpatient nursing experience Skills & Attributes Strong clinical knowledge and teamwork skillsAbility to provide high-quality patient-centered care Additional Benefits Competitive pay, career development, medical/dental/pet/vision plans, tuition reimbursement, and wellness programsRetirement options, paid time off, holiday pay, and community involvement opportunities
