Registered Nurse - Medical Observation Unit - Night Shift

Registered Nurse position in the Medical Pulmonary Unit on the night shift at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL.

Schedule

7:00pm - 7:30am, every other weekend.

Pay

$36.00 - $55.80 per hour, based on experience and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Provide individualized education to patients and families based on thorough assessments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
