Registered Nurse (RN) - Observation Unit - Night Shift

About the role

This Registered Nurse position provides patient care in a fast-paced Med/Surg Observation Unit, focusing on assessment, nursing diagnosis, care implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Systematically assess patient needs.
• Develop and implement care plans based on current evidence.
• Evaluate patient outcomes to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Evaluate discharge needs.

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN or MSN preferred.
• Current Oklahoma RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Hospital experience is helpful but not mandatory.
• New graduates must complete a nurse residency program.
