About the role

The Registered Nurse assesses, manages, and provides patient care during hospital stays, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams using a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive assessments, documents findings, and evaluates patient needs.
• Develops, implements, and modifies individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnosis, and protocols.
• Administers medications, monitors patient responses, and documents care activities accurately.
• Provides patient and family education, discharge planning, and collaborates with healthcare team members.
• Recognizes changes in patient condition, takes appropriate nursing actions, and ensures safety and infection control practices.
• Contributes to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and departmental goals.
• Maintains professional licensure, adheres to safety standards, and demonstrates respectful, compassionate service.

Requirements

• Current RN license in applicable states.
• BLS certification.
