Registered Nurse - Neuro (Days)

About the role

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care, uphold patient rights, and maintain confidentiality. Perform duties aligned with our mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a specialized neuro unit with 18 beds.
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1.
• Care for patients with neurological, neurosurgical, surgical, and urological diagnoses, including stroke and back surgery cases.
• Evaluate patient conditions and ensure quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state or valid compact licensure.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
