About the role

Seeking experienced registered nurses to provide patient care in a neurological and surgical unit. Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality, ensuring adherence to standards and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for a unit with 18 beds and a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Manage patients with neurological, neurosurgical, surgical, and urological diagnoses, including stroke and back surgery cases.
• Evaluate overall care quality and collaborate with team members.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure; must meet state requirements.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtainable within 90 days.
