About the Role
Registered Nurse (RN) supporting Med Surg services on a high-impact, multi-campus care team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, evidence-based care by owning the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
- Build meaningful connections with patients and families, fostering a respectful environment.
- Collaborate with team members, participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives.
- Lead in applying evidence-based practices, contribute to patient safety, and support continuous improvement through data and research.
- Plan care proactively, shape protocols, and ensure efficient use of resources to enhance patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care and mentor peers.
- Lead quality improvement efforts and optimize resource management to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Current RN license (single or multi-state).
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.
- 2+ years recent Med Surg experience.
- Experience with computer data entry; familiarity with Epic and 3M systems preferred.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Critical thinking and time management.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and handling clinical emergencies calmly.
