About the role

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Medical Intermediate team. The unit is a 30-bed facility caring for a variety of diagnoses and complex medical conditions such as surgical, cardiac, and stroke patients.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care
• Delegating patient care tasks to other patient care staff
• Supervising other patient care staff
• Cooking up the plan of care for a group of assigned patients
• Consulting with other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience
• Basic Life Support certification from either the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse license
• Acquire an Associate Degree
