About the role

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Medical Intermediate team. The Medical Intermediate unit is a 30-bed facility that cares for a variety of diagnoses and complex medical conditions, including surgical, cardiac, and stroke patients.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care
• Delegating patient care tasks and supervising other patient care staff
• Cooking up a plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures

Requirements

• Applicable experience: 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse - Various
• Associate Degree
