About the Role

The Nurse Manager oversees nursing and ancillary staff to ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. They create a positive environment, supervise daily unit operations, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing and scheduling for the unit.
• Develop and implement action plans for process improvement.
• Monitor care quality through audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct daily rounds and coordinate care with physicians.
• Address operational issues and facilitate patient throughput.
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and high-functioning care environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred).
• Active RN licensure and BLS certification.
• Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Background in acute care nursing.
• Specialty certifications are desirable.
