RN Manager - Full Time - Day Shift

Role Overview

The Nurse Manager creates a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment by supervising nursing and ancillary staff, ensuring high-quality care, and fostering a culture of open communication. They collaborate with physicians and leadership to optimize clinical operations, oversee daily unit activities, and develop staff through coaching and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, retain, and build a high-performing healthcare team.
• Establish standards of care, monitor outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct daily rounds, coordinate patient care, and resolve operational issues.
• Manage staffing needs, schedules, and overtime to maintain optimal coverage.
• Facilitate patient throughput, discharge planning, and safety protocols to prevent complications.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of safety and satisfaction.
• Perform emergency preparedness reviews and oversee equipment and facility safety.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.
• Current RN license in the practice state required.
• Minimum of five years' nursing experience, with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead teams, implement policies, and ensure high standards of care.
