RN - Labor and Delivery - Per Diem

Position: RN - Labor and Delivery - Per Diem Location: Arlington Heights, IL Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with patients and team members.Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet their specific needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills: Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current nursing licensure in Illinois.CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Key Duties: Provide safe, effective patient care in a labor and delivery setting, ensuring clear communication, individualized education, and ongoing professional development.
