About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) position at GSS SD Canistota Ctr is a full-time day shift role. This position is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals, and coordinating care plans.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Coordinate care, including medication management, and ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care.
- Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate.
- Assist in managing resident care concerns and ensuring a positive living environment.
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Pay
$34.00 - $48.00 per hour, plus a $25,000 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
Full time, 12 hours per day, Monday through Friday, every other weekend/holiday required, additional weekend differential.

Skills
