Role Overview

This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for individual or grouped patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient data, analyze health issues, and develop care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Implement care strategies, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe and healing environment.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care and provide health education.
• Participate in discharge planning for seamless continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise nursing staff at various levels.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and team functions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the practice state (required).
• CPR/BLS certification (required).
• ACLS or ARC-ALS certification (required).
• PALS or ARC-PALS certification (required).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and acute care experience.

Essential Functions

• Gather relevant patient data, analyze health status, develop and implement care plans, evaluate patient progress, and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Provide education to patients and families, support discharge planning, and delegate tasks appropriately to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
