Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Full Time, Day Shift)

About the role

Provides coordinated nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to care standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs nursing staff, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and employs critical thinking and independent judgment to deliver safe, effective care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient data, analyze health information, and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement care strategies, coordinate service delivery, and promote health and safety.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in discharge planning and delegate tasks appropriately to team members.
• Provide health education and ensure a safe, healing environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the practice state.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS or ARC-ALS, PALS or ARC-PALS.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and acute care experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
