ER Registered Nurse (ER RN) → "Full-Time ER Nurse"

About the role

Emergency Room Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in a small-format hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, developmentally appropriate nursing care using advanced clinical skills to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Accurately document patient information and monitor signs, symptoms, and behaviors.
• Follow physician orders, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Perform laboratory sample collection, lab testing, and assist with diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Manage admission, discharge, and transfer procedures, and participate in care planning and evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with legal, hospital, and nursing standards.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure without sanctions.
• Minimum of 2 years full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association; ENPC or TNCC preferred.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
• For Pennsylvania candidates: background clearances as required.
