Registered Nurse, RN → Registered Nurse (Full-Time)

Night shift (11 PM – 7 AM) with full-time or part-time hours available.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Document all care activities accurately.
• Report assessment findings promptly.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and the Resident Bill of Rights.
• Respond promptly to resident needs.
• Prepare and monitor resident assignments based on individual needs and staff competencies.
• Oversee care flow and ensure accurate documentation of ADLs and meal intake.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Licensed and in good standing as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
• Knowledge of medical, social, and psychological needs of residents.
• Understanding of infection prevention and general nursing practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively.
• Genuine desire to work with elderly and disabled individuals.

Experience with geriatric patients is desirable but not required. COVID-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandatory.
