Registered Nurse, RN → Registered Nurse (Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift (11PM - 7AM) to provide compassionate care to residents in a healthcare facility specializing in Short Term Rehabilitation, Sub-Acute, and Long Term Care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess and care for residents, administer medications and treatments, and accurately document care activities.
• Report observations and findings to charge nurses and supervisors.
• Deliver direct resident care in accordance with policies, procedures, and resident rights, demonstrating clinical skills and knowledge.
• Identify and respond promptly to resident concerns and needs.
• Prepare resident assignments based on needs and staff competencies, monitor care flow, and ensure documentation of activities like ADLs and meal intake.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Licensed and registered as an RN in good standing in New York State.
• Experience with geriatric patients is preferred but not required.
• Strong desire to work with elderly, chronically ill, and disabled populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of medical, social, psychological needs, infection control, and general nursing practices.
• Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork orientation.
