Registered Nurse, RN → Registered Nurse (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Document care accurately and monitor resident status.
• Report assessments to charge nurses and supervisors.
• Ensure timely response to patient needs.
• Coordinate resident assignments based on needs and staff competency.
• Oversee activity flow and care delivery.
• Ensure proper documentation of activities of daily living and meal intake.
• Maintain punctuality and communicate absences appropriately.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school.
• Licensed and registered in New York State.
• Experience with geriatric patients preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome.
• Sincere desire to work with the elderly, disabled, and chronically ill.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical, social, and psychological needs, infection prevention, and general nursing principles.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for interaction with residents, families, and staff.
