Registered Nurse, RN → Registered Nurse (Full-Time/Part-Time)

About the Role

Night shift (11 PM – 7 AM) with options for full or part-time work.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to care for residents.
• Administer medications and treatments, and document care accurately.
• Report observations to charge nurses and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with policies and the Resident Bill of Rights.
• Respond promptly to resident needs.
• Prepare and monitor resident assignments based on individual needs and staff competencies.
• Supervise care activities.
• Ensure proper documentation of ADLs and meal intake.

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in New York.
• Genuine desire to work with elderly and disabled populations.
• Knowledge of medical, social, and psychological resident needs.
• Understanding of infection control practices.
• Strong communication skills.

Experience with geriatric care is preferred but not required.
