About the role
Provides coordinated nursing care for patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Supervises nursing staff at various levels and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and effective care.
Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes patient data to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Coordinates care delivery, promotes health, and ensures a safe environment.
- Participates in discharge planning and provides health education to patients and families.
- Delegates tasks appropriately within the healthcare team.
- Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid RN licensure in the practice state.
- Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications required.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and acute care experience.
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and teamwork skills essential.
