Cassia is hiring a Director of Health Services (DHS) RN – Float Minnesota to join our team! In this position, you’ll support the transition of nursing leadership by stepping into key roles across multiple assisted living communities based in Minnesota. As the RN, Director of Health Services Float, you will provide leadership coverage and clinical support where it’s needed most, guiding teams through transitions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting best practices across multiple campuses. You’ll work in a variety of settings, including memory care, assisted living, and care suites. The ideal candidate is adaptable, has prior senior living experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to build relationships quickly. Candidates must be willing to travel, including occasional overnight stays to support communities in Minnesota. Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, benefits eligible position Wage Range: $100,000 - $115,000 Annually depending on experience Bonus: $10,000 Location: 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN 55439 RN Float Director of Health Services Responsibilities: Fill vacant positions as the Director of Health Services or other assisted living nursing positions when needed. Identify training needs, plan, and conduct educational opportunitiesProvide clinical leadership and oversight of resident care servicesOversee nursing care, assessments, care planning, and medication managementCoordinate care with residents, families, providers, and community partnersRespond to changes in resident condition, incidents, and clinical concernsSupport quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveysPromote person‑centered care, dignity, safety, and resident choiceCollaborate with the site leadership team to support overall operationsDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships across Cassia. Be available for on-call support for licensed and unlicensed staff RN, Float Director of Health Services Qualifications: Must be in good standing with the MN Board of Nursing and have current MN nursing licenseBLS CPR training required1-2 Years of Experience in assisted living requiredLeadership experience preferredDetail-oriented and self-motivatedStrong assessment and documentation skillsMust be able to travelExcellent communication and customer service skillsMust be flexible to work in memory care, traditional assisted living and care suites.
