RN Director of Health Services DHS 10000 Bonus
Signe Burckhardt Manor is hiring an experienced RN Director of Health Services (DHS) to lead our team, providing quality care for diverse clients at our Comprehensive Home Care serving tenants in a 42-apartment MPHA (Minneapolis Public Housing Authority) community.
Responsibilities
- Complete initial assessment of potential home care clients
- Create and implement individual Care Plan for each client
- Ensure clients' rights are protected and advocate on their behalf
- Communicate with healthcare providers, county personnel, and family regarding clients' current needs and health status
- Take fiscal responsibility for setting and staying within budget for nursing and care-related areas
- Monitor and maintain resident charts and progress notes
- Oversee ordering, setup, and administration of all medications
- Fulfill staffing needs for the nursing department including hiring, evaluation, and scheduling
- Provide health and medication training to all nursing personnel as well as continued education
- Document teaching and training to assure compliance with current regulations
- Oversee and conduct supervision of nursing staff including employee guidance, coaching, and discipline to maintain high standards of care and a positive work environment
Requirements
- Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota
- Experience in assisted living or home care preferred
- Experience supervising staff preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, family members, and staff while promoting a positive atmosphere in the nursing department

Pay
$90,000 - $100,000 annually depending on experience, plus a $10,000 bonus.
Schedule
Full-time, benefits-eligible position with a varying schedule. This position is supported by an after-hours RN team that triages all calls evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
