RN - Critical Care - Nights

Position: Registered Nurse PCCU - Medical ICU Location: Elmhurst, IL Hours: Full-Time, 36 hours/week, 7pm - 7:30am, rotating weekends and holidays Key Responsibilities: Develops and evaluates individualized care plans; assesses patient health data; communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams; provides patient education tailored to cultural and learning needs; collaborates with colleagues, supports professional development, and contributes to performance improvement and research activities; assists with technical procedures like IV management and contrast injections; ensures compliance with HIPAA and assists in patient transport. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; active Illinois RN license; ACLS and BLS certifications; minimum 1 year inpatient nursing experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, ICU or ER experience, wound/ostomy certifications. Skills: Strong communication, assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork; ability to provide compassionate care and adapt teaching; knowledge of wound/ostomy care advantageous.
