Role Overview
The RN Coordinator Trauma/Women's is responsible for providing specialized, patient-centered care to obstetrical trauma patients, following established policies and professional guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with trauma activations and respond promptly 24/7.
- Oversee patient care throughout the hospital, including the Trauma Resuscitation bay, Radiology, OR, PACU, and ICU.
- Collaborate with trauma leadership to ensure quality care, identify performance improvement opportunities, and develop action plans.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Trauma Nursing Core Course, and RN licensure within specified timeframes.
- An Associate Degree is required.
Key Duties
- Support trauma and obstetric patients.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts.
- Respond swiftly to trauma activations following ACS standards.
