About the role

The RN Coordinator Trauma/Women's provides specialized care for obstetrical trauma patients, ensuring a patient-centered approach in accordance with organizational policies and professional guidelines. The role involves working in a large hospital with various specialized services, including a Level I Trauma Center and obstetrics. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and requires a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to trauma activations (24/7)
• Follow patients throughout their hospital stay (including Trauma Resuscitation bay, Radiology, OR, PACU, ICU)
• Collaborate with trauma leadership to deliver quality care
• Identify and resolve performance improvement opportunities

Qualifications

• Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• Trauma Nursing Core Course
• RN license within specified timeframes
• Associate Degree required
