RN Coordinator - Trauma Women's Weekend Days

About the Role

Provide specialized care for obstetrical trauma patients through a patient/family-centered approach, following organizational policies and professional guidelines. Respond promptly to trauma activations 24/7, adhering to ACS standards. Track patients throughout their hospital stay, coordinating with various departments such as Radiology, OR, PACU, and ICU.

Responsibilities

• Assist in trauma care delivery.
• Support performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Trauma Services team to ensure quality care, identify Performance Improvement opportunities, and develop action plans for resolution.
• Work closely with trauma leadership to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Be available for trauma responses at all times and follow established protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and Trauma Nursing Core Course within specified timeframes.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
