Role Overview
The RN Coordinator Trauma/Women's is responsible for providing patient-centered care to obstetrical trauma patients, collaborating with trauma teams, and ensuring quality outcomes. They respond promptly to trauma activations, follow patients throughout their hospital stay, and assist in performance improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to trauma activations 24/7
- Coordinate care across departments (Resuscitation, Radiology, OR, ICU)
- Support trauma program goals
- Work with leadership to identify and resolve performance issues
Qualifications & Skills
- Must obtain certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NRP, TNCC, and RN license within specified timeframes
- An associate degree and relevant trauma nursing training are required
