RN Coordinator - Trauma Women's Weekends

About the role

The RN Coordinator Trauma/Womens provides specialized care for obstetrical trauma patients, ensuring a patient/family-centered approach in accordance with organizational policies and professional guidelines. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional trauma and obstetrical care, supporting organizational quality initiatives and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trauma activations, remaining available 24/7, and respond promptly according to ACS standards.
• Follow patients throughout their hospital course, including trauma bays, radiology, OR, PACU, and ICU.
• Collaborate with trauma leadership to ensure quality care and identify performance improvement opportunities, implementing action plans.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Trauma Nursing Core Course obtained within specified timeframes.
• Strong teamwork, clinical skills, and ability to work in high-pressure trauma situations.
