About the role
This position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a healthcare setting, demonstrating proficiency in core nursing skills. The role involves supervising clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, medical assistants, and receptionists, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across all age groups in various care settings.
- Supervise and support clinical staff to maintain high standards of service.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as Joint Commission, NYS Department of Health, CMS, and Article 28.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting and communication.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure in NY State.
- Current CPR certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, leadership experience, and familiarity with walk-in or primary care environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards, protocols, and infection control guidelines.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Work Environment & Requirements
- Operate in an office setting with exposure to cleaning disinfectants and PPE usage.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, moving between sitting, walking, standing, and bending.
- Navigate multi-level facilities, including stairs, with possible travel between sites.
