Responsibilities
- Fulfills essential duties as outlined in the job description.
- Manages time effectively, prioritizing responsibilities and taking meal breaks without incurring overtime.
- Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team, including patients and families.
- Ensures regulatory agency requirements are observed and managed.
- Participates in professional hospital/nursing activities and maintains ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Req Bachelor’s Degree Nursing Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Req 1 year Acute inpatient hospital experience as RN.
- Req Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
- Req Knowledge of medical procedures and conditions and ability to understand, follow, and successfully perform duties, including whole blood collection, and apheresis procedures.
- Req Committed to excellence in patient care and customer service.
- Req Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pref Specialty Certification.
Qualifications
- Req Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing).
- Req Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.
- Req Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association (required for certain departments).
Benefits
The hourly rate range for this position is $44.00 - $95.00.
