RN Antepartum Nights

The Antepartum Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, high-risk care to pregnant patients prior to delivery in a hospital setting. Key responsibilities include: delivering direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing patient safety and evidence-based practices, and mentoring new staff. Work units encompass: Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Women’s Care, and NICU, guided by standards from AWHONN and AACN, with ongoing education and competency validation. Qualifications: graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure, 6 months of Women and Infants nursing experience or fellowship completion, and certifications such as NRP, ACLS, and BLS.
