About the role

The Antepartum Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, evidence-based care to high-risk pregnant patients requiring hospitalization before delivery in a specialized inpatient unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process for direct patient care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Prioritize patient wellness
• Precept new staff or students

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Valid RN licensure
• At least six months of Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship
• Certifications: NRP, ACLS, and BLS

Skills

• Proficiency in obstetric and fetal monitoring standards (AWHONN, AACN)
