RN Antepartum Night Nurse

About the role

The Antepartum Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, evidence-based care to high-risk pregnant patients requiring hospitalization before delivery, across various Women and Infants units including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Women’s Care, and NICU.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality outcomes while modeling proficiency and precepting new team members.
• Support ongoing education and competency validation through clinical educators and adherence to practice standards including AWHONN and AACN guidelines.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with current RN licensure.
• Minimum six months of Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of a specialized fellowship.
• Certifications including NRP, ACLS, and BLS, with BLS required before start.
• Strong clinical skills, evidence-based practice, and ability to work effectively within a team.
