Registered Nurse - Antepartum - Nights

Position: Registered Nurse – Antepartum (Night Shift)

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care by developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Assess patients, gather health data, and communicate plans effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Individualize patient and family education, considering cultural background and learning styles.
• Participate in performance improvement activities, support research, and stay current with practice trends.
• Assist technical staff with procedures such as injections, venipuncture, and IV management.
• Conduct wound/ostomy/skin care rounds if skilled, and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and assist with transporting acutely ill patients as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse licensure in good standing.
• Antepartum experience (minimum 18 months preferred for sign-on bonus).
• Excellent communication, assessment, and patient education skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and support professional development.
• Knowledge of wound, ostomy, and skin care is a plus.
